Practicing Sustainability Where You Live
Just
in time for Earth Day! This 1.5 day workshop for elementary and middle school
educators offers practical exercises illustrating the scientific principles
of environmental sustainability to facilitate your design of Earth Day lesson
plans and projects. The workshop includes hands-on laboratory exercises,
guidance in teaching environmental science and sustainability, optional
field trips and follow-up internet networking to advance classroom implementation.
