Game Programming in the Math Classroom with Alice
Within
the context of teaching math and science in an interdisciplinary environment,
learn how to use “Alice” software to create animated games that
illustrate math concepts. Then learn how to teach your students how to create
their own programs and games, reinforcing their understanding of math concepts
and algorithms as well as introducing them to computer programming in general.
Workshop includes instruction, demonstrations and hands-on computer lab
work. Participants are not expected to have programming experience.
