The Southeastern Pennsylvania Consortium for Higher Education (SEPCHE) is a consortium of eight independent higher education institutions in the Greater Philadelphia region that collaborate to improve the quality and efficiency of academic programming, student access, faculty development, institutional operations and community outreach, through a range of shared activities, services, technology and information.

Together these institutions enroll more than 20,000 students and represent the third largest higher education provider in the Delaware Valley.

Collectively the Consortium awards more teaching credentials and master’s degrees in education than any other institution in Pennsylvania.

Nurturing Student Scholars in the Humanities and Social Sciences,
Nurturing Student  Scholars in the Humanities and Social Sciences is an undergraduate research project of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Consortium for Higher Education  (SEPCHE) created with support from The Barra Foundation and the Foundation for Independent Higher Education (FIHE).
