
Libraries of the Consortium
The libraries of the SouthEastern Pennsylvania Consortium
for Higher Education have been at the forefront of SEPCHE co-operation since
its foundation. Their collaborative activities have provided enhanced library
services for the entire Consortium through:
- SEPCHE-cat, the new SEPCHE virtual library catalog,
a shared catalog of books and materials in the SEPCHE libraries.
- Library automation
- Access to over one million volumes and 5,500 journal subscriptions
- Reciprocal Library Borrowing Agreement allowing over 16,000 students and
1700 faculty to borrow materials from all eight
libraries
- Shared electronic book collection
- Increased on-line journal and research resources
- Shared on-line information literacy training program
- Common Information Literacy Freshman/First Year Student Learning Outcomes
- Information literacy faculty development program
