THE CLARE BOOTHE LUCE (CBL) PROGRAM OF THE HENRY LUCE FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH SEPCHE TO ADVANCE WOMEN IN THE SCIENCES

(1/22/20) The Clare Boothe Luce (CBL) Program of The Henry Luce Foundation has awarded the Southeastern Pennsylvania Consortium for Higher Education (SEPCHE) $300,000 over four years for its collaborative initiative “Clare Boothe Luce Research Scholars Initiative” building vital success pathways for female undergraduates in disciplines where they are underrepresented. THE TEAGLE FOUNDATION AWARDS SEPCHE $300,000 GRANT

(2/20/17) The Teagle Foundation has awarded the Southeastern Pennsylvania Consortium for Higher Education (SEPCHE) $300,000 over 3 years for its collaborative initiative entitled “Integrating Liberal Arts in the Professions” expanding strengthening multi-disciplinary approaches to undergraduate business education. The members will use the lens of social impact and social innovation to strengthen multi-disciplinary approaches to real world problem solving. Collaboration among faculty from the professions and disciplines will actively engage disciplinary perspectives about service and the common good in relation to current, relevant and highly debated issues.

This prestigious award is one of a select number of grants made nationally by The Teagle Foundation supporting efforts that foster faculty-led curricular reform and collaborative learning through the integration of liberal arts and professions. The grant is the largest ever received by the SEPCHE consortium from The Teagle Foundation. Read more.

FACULTY LED TEACHING AND LEARNING PROJECT EXPANDS EVIDENCE-BASED TEACHING ACROSS SEPCHE INSTITUTIONS USING METACOGNITIVE APPROACHES

(8/15/15) “Building Faculty Capacity for 21st Century Teaching” succcessfully expanded faculty usage of twenty-first century approaches to teaching and faculty work. This transformative initiative enabled through the generosity of The Teagle Foundation generated 50 research projects involving 67 principal investigators and 18 learning communities. Read more.
